I  have been wearing same  upper  denture  for  sixteen years. Through  the years when my  face  is relaxed none  of  my  teeth  show and  when I smile I show only  half a  tooth  a  best.  I feel that some  thing needs to be  done.  I  would also  like  to  have  the  UltraSuction on my denture for  greater  retention.

This is  a  typical problem for  denture wearers.  They have the same  dentures for many years , and  the  average  life  span of  a  denture is  some  where between 5  and  7  years.The  problem here is what  we would call resorption ( the gums shrink ) and the  denture follows this  shrinkage upward  over time and the  teeth no longer show. One could also have wear factors on the teeth that shorten them. This closed vertical situation can also give a  premature aged look.
